I had seen MarkJoseph’s on a list of famous steak houses in one of the airline magazines and, since it was right behind our hotel, I was eager to try it. I can see why it made the list, everything - the food, the service, the atmosphere - was perfect! Also, it didn’t do anything to change my opinion that everything in NYC is very expensive! But I accept that eating at a famous restaurant with a well deserved reputation will not be a bargain meal. And, as Marla said, but failed to follow her own instinct, a nice juicy, medium rare filet was a welcome respite from all the seafood we’d been enjoying.
